Lambertville Goes Wild: Secrets of Butterfly Gardening: What Do Butterflies Really Need?

Lambertville Goes Wild will sponsor Secrets of Butterfly Gardening: What Do Butterflies Really Need? on Saturday, February 23, from 10 - 11 a.m. at the Philip L. Pittore Justice Center/ACME Screening Room, 25 South Union Street, Lambertville, New Jersey.  How can you attract butterflies to your garden?  Can you have a butterfly garden if you have shade?  What other conditions do butterflies need to thrive?  Learn the secrets to a successful butterfly garden!  As a bonus, the same techniques will help birds, too.

Mary Anne Borge, naturalist, photographer, and author of the-natural-web.org, will lead the program.  Mary Anne is the Associate Editor of Butterfly Gardener magazine, and an instructor at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve.

This program is free and open to all.
