Bucks County Audubon Society invites families to come out and play in the creek with us and the Pennsylvania Amphibian and Reptile Survey (PARS) on August 10th at 2:00 pm. After a short presentation about the important work of the survey, participants will head into the field to find an assortment of reptiles and amphibians. Wear water shoes, boots, or old sneakers for exploring the creek! This is a fun and interactive way to learn more about Pennsylvania’s turtle, lizard, snake, frog, and salamander species.
The cost is $5/BCAS Members and $10/Non-Members. Register early to guarantee a spot, as space is limited! Visit www.bcas.org to register. PARS is a joint citizen science project between the Mid-Atlantic Center for Herpetology and Conservation and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, with additional funding from Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The program is held at 2877 Creamery Road, New Hope PA.
