Lambertville’s National Wildlife Federation Certification Ceremony + Lambertville Goes Wild!

Message: Join in celebrating Lambertville’s success in achieving the status of a certified community wildlife habitat through the National Wildlife Federation. We are the 125th community in the nation to be certified, the fourth in New Jersey.

The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10 am at Cavallo Park. A representative of the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) will present the certification to Mayor Fahl representing the City. The award ceremony should last about 30-45 minutes.

Fittingly, Lambertville's Recreation Commission is partnering with Lambertville Goes Wild to plant a wildlife friendly riparian buffer at the park, a volunteer activity that will be ongoing throughout the day. If you have time, please stay and help us with the planting, scheduled to start at 9 am and finish by 3 pm. Come for the day or for an hour - every little bit helps! Bring gloves, a trowel and/or a shovel if you have them, if not, we’ll have some extras for you to use. Children are welcome to participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you have any questions about the project please contact us at
